ABSTRACT SKETCH is a project I experiment from 2018 to 2019 in ECAL.
Everything comes from my great interest in Chinese brush painting and Calligraphy.
I first started to sketch abstract furnitures pieces that I have in my mind with skills of brush painting and calligraphy. While trying to realizing them in 3D pieces, I found it really difficult. Then I turned to start from the “very beginning”, sketch daily objects with brushes. During this period, I gradually found how I could realize different textures, shape, surfaces through using brushes and Chinese ink.
